Today NT was up early, as usual, for PBS's Cyberchase. The subject was percents.

We had another busy day today. We joined the local homeschool adventures group for a tour of a fire station in NE Mpls and had a great time. The kids got to climb aboard a real fire truck and got to sit inside an ambulance. They got to see where the fire fighters eat and sleep and how they slide down the pole. They also got to hear a lot about what it's like to be a fire fighter. It was very interesting!

Afterward we went to the library where we spent quite a bit of time looking for new books. NT checked out more books on the game of chess and he got some books on chemistry, plus one on the Titanic, which he read for quite a while this afternoon.

The kids built a pillow fort late this afternoon and watched a very detailed dinosaur documentary that NT particularly enjoyed.

Everyone fell asleep early tonight!
